True Blood Scores Big in Ratings Game

Source: TV By The Numbers

Sunday’s episode of True Blood notched 4.43 million viewers, up versus the previous week (and previous series high) when it had 4.27 million. It also had a 2.3/6 (rating/share) with adults 18-49, up a tenth from last week’s 2.2 rating. Note: these numbers are only for the initial airing and don’t include the encore airing.
Will it hit 5 million by the season finale? The show keeps growing, and even its DVD sales are going strong after 11 weeks, and has pushed past 1.2 million units and $42 million in DVD sales in the USA. It’s a pretty phenomenal story for HBO, and the show just keeps getting better. The last couple of weeks were great.
I still haven’t seen any other numbers for HBO (Hung, Entourage) but if I see them will post them.
Update: I never saw the viewer numbers but courtesy of TV Bill (and then the same info later from Prada) here are the 18-49 numbers: HUNG: 1.6/4 ENTOURAGE: 1.7/5
